About us
Gammadata supplies equipment and tailor-made solutions for analytical instruments, radiation detection and protection as well as material characterization in the Scandinavian market.
Our customers are active in several areas within research, industry, education and government.
We started our journey in 1987, and today have around 30 employees distributed in offices around the Nordic region. Local service and support is important to us, and is carried out in our workshop in Uppsala, or on site at our customers. We perform installations, training and service on all products we sell.

Management
Our CEO
Ulf has a PhD in chemical physics from Umeå University in Ultrafast Laser Spectroscopy and has been employed at Gammadata Instrument since 1996 when he left a research position at Lund University. Over the years, he has focused on sales and support of various research-oriented analytical instruments, mainly in Raman and fluorescence. Since 2017, Ulf has been the company’s CEO.
Owners
Dag Sedin
Founder
Dag was one of the founders of Gammadata Mätteknik AB and started working with gamma spectrometers for the educational market in 1987. Dag started 1997 and left his position as CEO of Gammadata 2017 and today works as an advisor for the company. Since 2017, Dag has been working with radon issues and is the chairman of the Swedish Radon Association.
Stefan Isaksson
Business unit manager
Stefan has worked at Gammadata Instruments since 1992 and is trained in nuclear technology. After studying for a degree in nuclear physics and applied computer physics at Uppsala University, Stefan completed an Academia Licentiate degree in nuclear physics at the Department of Radiation Sciences at Uppsala University. Stefan was employed as a development engineer and worked with product development. Today, Stefan leads Nuclear systems business unit and is responsible for sales and technical/application support for products from Mirion (Canberra), Caen and Saint-Gobain Crystals.
Per Uhlén
Chairman of the Board
Per has a master’s degree as a civil engineer and a master’s degree in economics and studied at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. He has been a leading resource in the property industry and has been active as CEO of Diös AB, Diligentia AB. By working actively as a manager and coach within a wide range of commercial environments, Per has learned to coach other entrepreneurs to create and grow profitable businesses.
